2024 Hemp License Applications Available for Oregon, Renewals Due December 1st!

Updated: Dec 1, 2023

If you hold a current hemp grower or handler license issued by ODA and plan to grow or handle hemp in the 2024 calendar year, ODA must receive your completed renewal application no later than December 1st, 2023.

2024 Grower/Grow Site License Applications are found here, along with more information on grower program requirements.

2024 Hemp Handler License Applications are found here, along with more information on handler program requirements.

NOTE: Current hemp licenses will expire on December 31st.

Additionally, all grower license applications (whether new or renewals), including grow site information, must be submitted no later than May 31, 2024 to avoid denial or late fees

Whether you're a new applicant or a current licensee renewing your license, please be sure to take the time to do a thorough and careful review of your application. Your application must be complete and all fees paid, as "incomplete applications won't be processed until they are fixed." Errors in applications, including failure to list all key participants and pay all required fees, could result in administrative delays in processing your application and issuance of your license, or result in overall license denial.
