The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) has announced the opening of a Public Comment Period for proposed rules to bring the Oregon Hemp Program into compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill and USDA Interim Final Rules.
The proposed rules are available on the ODA website here. These rules are scheduled to go into effect January 1, 2021.
The public comment period is open until October 16, 2020.
To submit comments, please email your comments to: Rules Coordinator, Amy Bingham, at abingham@oda.state.or.us no later than 5:00 pm on October 16, 2020.
There is a virtual Public Hearing scheduled for October 8, 2020 from 9am-11am.
