The Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) Section has filed a temporary rule amending OAR 333-333-4300 related to psilocybin service centers. Effective Friday, August 29, 2025, the amendment clarifies that authorized temporary uses may only occur between the hours of 6:00 AM and 11:59 PM local time.
This action closes an unintended loophole in existing administrative rules regarding hours of operation for service centers. The temporary rule ensures that no licensed service center may host authorized temporary uses after 11:59 PM. All service centers are required to comply immediately.
OPS plans to undertake permanent rulemaking later this year, including convening a Rules Advisory Committee and opening a public comment period.
